monochrome halftone facsimile of the
autograph presentation copy composed in 1844. The text was compiled
from two poems out of
Eichendorff’s collection “Wanderlieder”. The title page of the ms
contains a beautiful
vignette by Fanny’s husband, the Prussian court painter Wilhelm Hensel,
and suggests that the
fair copy was intended as a present. Fine bibliophile edition printed
on laid paper, issued
on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Fanny Hensel’s death.
