detail of page

British Library Music Facsimiles, III. London, 1980. Oblong, 37 x 28 cm, viii, 40 pp. Beautifully printed duotone of the autograph score, completed in the first half of 1802. Although the manuscript could be considered a faircopy, it appears not to be the source for the first edition issued by the Bureau des Arts et d’Industrie, Vienna, June, 1803, with a dedication to Alexander I, the Russian Czar. That edition contains additional expression marks and trill indications.
