The manuscript, dating from the last quarter of the 15th century, contains 242 beautiful miniatures that provide a wonderful source about the civil and military life of the times.                        The miniatures were executed by five different artists, one of them, Juan de Carrión, is the most famous of the Castilian Flamenco miniature painters.
