The ms is a “working” copy, containing many crossouts, corrections and compositional improvements, all the more important, as Beethoven considered the Missa Solemnis to be his greatest work. Separate commentary booklet in Ger by Wilhelm Virneisel. Edition of 1000 copies printed on laid paper. Handsome binding with red linen boards and gold lettering.
