facsimile of the autograph fair copy in the
original format. Composed in the summer of
1812 it was affectionately referred to by the
composer as his “little symphony”; it’s jovial
spirit with rhythmic surprises stand in
contrast to the medical misfortunes sustained
that summer. As Beethoven fair copies go, the
autograph is full of major alterations and
last minute tinkering. Hardbound, with
decorative paper and leather spine. Commentary
in Eng-Ger-Jap. c.$625 (10% discount for
